Advanced Selection (Entities)

The advanced selection form provides a very powerful way to select entities based on user defined criteria. This selection of entities can then be used as the basis for many of the reports. This effectively means that you have millions of ways to configure who appears on what reports.

The same basic method is used to select students, staff, families, debtors and others:

1. Specify the Filter Category you wish to use.
2. Set the criteria you wish to filter on.
3. Select the appropriate tab to display the entities who satisfy the criteria.
4. Add the entities to the Selected list.
